On Week 2 of the Masters we welcomed Herbertstown to fold and they got off to a flyer with a hard earned win over Murroe Chicks with Flicks. Herbertstown winning 4 – 1 at the break looked well in control but Murroe fought back and narrowly missed out on getting the draw – well done to Herbertstown on their first outing.
The second game between Bridge Celtic and Aisling Annacotty was a close encounter all the way through. The score was 2 -2 at half time and both teams went on to add another 2 goals each in the second half with the final score of 4 – 4.
Despite the distraction of the “Late Late Toy Show” on TV all teams diverted to the Valley Inn after the games for the usual craic and refreshments.
